NPC Spawn Issue: tainted seahorse

Hi, curious about the spawn rate and/or if this is still working properly. Seen this mob spawn twice and have been killing my ass off to snag my own:

~120 pops, 2 tainted and those in the same night in ~3h.

Sounds about right.

He can spawn from 1 of 8 spawn locations. I would solo the undertow room (with 2 PHers) the caves (with 6 PHers) for about 20 clears before he spawned for me.

The upside is, pre-60 this is an amazing camp to solo as a druid. If you know how to handle kedge / charming, this camp owns and doing it for just the exp and no tainted is good still.

I've spawned him once without trying for him just trying for exp.

But on the converse to my original post, I've gotten him in 5 clears and I've zoned in just to see him up and no on in zone also. So 20 clears may be the higher end of the spectrum.
