The ip ban when you try to log in again is to prevent you from boxing. The fact that you have four roommates has nothing to do with your ip ban since youre not asking for an exemption to play with them. Its just something youre going to have to deal with until you get the problem sorted out.

I know a *lot* of instances where wineq from lavishsoft (the free trial/lite edition) has solved crashing issues, as it forces newer systems to run the game under a better system load (game has a lot of issues with newer computer systems for some reason).

So, first, try wineq, then I would suggest duxas all in one installer. If neither of those solve the issue, then tell your roomies to stop downloading the damn porn. Also, system specs, os info, etc usually helps with troubkeshooting like this.

im using a mac book pro i7 2.3gig quad core 8 gig ram 1gig dedicated video memory.. i got cable coming next week for a more stable connection.. About the exemption does it cost anything? my buddy does play but hasn't been on for a while, does the ip block only refer to a computer on a network or does it block the router ip? oh, im using boot camp to run windows 7 home premium edition. i have played on ezserver for about 8 months and its perfectly fine.. but i reinstalled and loaded p99 files so there wasnt any complications since i left ezserver.. what is this wineq and lavishsoft?

Ip exemption costs nothing. If youre on a network, generally youre all on the same ip address, and it would all look like one machine to the login server. The fact that we have so many issues with freezing and crashing *might* have something to do with the fact that were only enabled up to kunark. Changes to make the game multi-core friendly didnt come until later on in some of the other expansions. Most likely this is why you had no issues on ez, as they have those expnsions enabled. Other than that, ive no idea. A lot of things are custom coded here to make it all more nostalgic (removal of target rings, maps, et .)

Wineq is a program most often used to box, but it also servss to help with a lot of video game compatability issues. Lavishsoft is the company that makes the software.
