Default Unable to zone in Kunark

Last night I tried to go to Kunark for the first time, by taking the boat at Butcherblock Mountains’ docks, but I wasn’t able to enter Timorous Deep.

Others who were on the boats with me seemed to have zoned fine, but I got stuck in some sort of invisible wall for a few seconds and then fell into the water. I couldn’t zone by swimming either.

I tried it a couple more times, and the same thing happened. Boats zone in and I’m left standing in the air until eventually falling in the water.

Can anyone please tell me what I need to do to fix this?

Do you have the Kunark zone files in your /everquest directory?

I think so, I installed the game from the Titanium CDs, but I can check when I get home.

What should I be looking for exactly?

Just checked my Everquest folder and there's a Kunark sub-folder in there. Inside there are all sorts of Kunark zone files.

For example, for timorous deep, the zone I can't get in, I have 5 files:

- timorous2_chr.s3d
- timorous.s3d
- timorous_chr.s3d
- timorous_lit.s3d
- timorous_obj.s3d

Is this what I was supposed to have here?

With the help of a guildie, finally sorted this out.

For future reference, problem was I had installed the new textures from here:

http://www.project1999.org/forums/showthread.php?t=2482

And when I extracted the Kunark files, I accidently included the Kunark folder, which means the files in the /everquest folder remained unchanged.

When I found out I wasn’t supposed to have a Kunark folder there, the solution to the problem became obvious. Copied all the Kunark files to the main folder and voilá, magic!
