speed of bolts and the lack thereof

I can outrun my bolt spells w/ out sow. If a mob is running and i cast a bolt it will enver catch up to it lol...This seems wrong. Anyone have any thoughts?

It's wrong. Doesn't seem like there's very much they can do about it, since it's one of the most glaring inconsistencies between this and real EverQuest that you think they would have done something about it if it was even remotely possible.
