Qeynos Rogue/dead at respawn

I did a quick look and didn't see this. I created a half-elf Qeynos Rogue and died on my way out to the field (oops, need to learn to con better, my bad), anyhow, when i respawn at gates, I'm insta-killed by the guards.. so am in a 'loading...' loop forever.
