I noticed this when I cast the spell for the first time after mem'ing it, and I've also seen it a few times since then on the first cast after logging in. After that initial 5minute duration, every cast afterwards has been for the proper length of time.

Yes some weirdness with this spell. I think when I zone with it active it refreshes to 5 min. (Will confirm) but I have noticed some 5 minute durations.

I've noticed this same thing with all my druid DS buffs. Usually when I noticed an abnormally high timer was when I cast it and zoned rather quickly (bad pull, etc), and noticing a timer of just over 5 minutes, when the cast was initially much lower.

The 5 minute duration is the bug, not the minute duration. Sometimes spells seemingly randomly are "super-effective"; I've had this happen with SoW and stat buffs as well, where the SoW makes me go way faster than I should or the stat buffs give me more stats than they should at my current level.
