Update says bad zip header, EQemu permissions not high enough, aborts

So i usually download the spell updates manually. Well its not working this time, so I tried to EQemu launcher. I need to set permissions or something, how do i do this?

I JUST started having this same problem. I was actually patched and playing last night but I re booted the computer and getting this fail.

I do know that in WIN 7 you need to start applications by right clicking them and selecting "Run as Administrator". So make sure your doing that.

I fixed it. Try right clicking EmuLauncher and selecting "properties" Under "Compatibility" tab, at the bottom is "Privilege Level" Select change to run as Administrator and maybe change settings for all users. That worked for me.
