Can't see login screen

I am on Windows 7, Home Edition.

I recently changed Everquest from being windowed mode (P1999 everquest) to Full Screen.

However, now when I try to click on my exe file and link (with patchme), it brings up a blank screen and the EULA and login screen do not appear.

I've tried hitting TAB to accept the eula and blindly type in my login information, but it hasn't worked.

Does anyone know why I can't see the game when I click the .exe file?

Alt-Enter to force windowed mode and, usually an Alt-Enter back will refresh the bugged out screen.
