![]() I'm somewhat curious to know how players feel about the fact character's faces can be freely switched in-game. Personally I think it removes an important aspect from a characters identity and I wish the function were excised (though I realize this could be difficult to accomplish from a developmental standpoint).

![]() I'm pretty sure it was impossible to change your face until Luclin or PoP. I support the OP for his other reasons listed, too.

I would almost have to assume it can be disabled by the server similar to how they can disable the use of the cartography system and the dye system. It cannot be entirely client-side else nobody else would see the changed face. At some point the client has to tell the server which face is being picked and the server sets it in the character database. Is it possible to stop that from happening? Sure. Is it worth spending time on when there are almost always more important things that need fixing? Not imo. | |||
