Favorite off-beat leveling locations?

When I initially played on VZ, I was too innocent to do anything but wander around and try not to die. But when I re-rolled on SZ, I'd been to the top and back and started down a more "optimal" path with my Warrior. No more leveling in Permafrost or on Aviaks, straight to Ro, UR, LOIO, DL, MM, etc.

Now that I'm back in Norrath, and since I'm duoing with a friend in a decent combo (Shaman + Warrior), I'm trying to remember some of the good old spots, for various level ranges... Lake Rathetear, Everfrost at Redwind, etc.

What are some of your favorite off-the-beaten-path leveling spots? For selfish reasons, I hope to see some suggestions that aren't only for kiters but might work for my duo too~.
