Default Size Tags on items and bags

Wanted to join up some threads I saw earlier:
https://www.project1999.com/forums/s...highlight=size (mentions weight reduction not being listed until April 2001)
https://www.project1999.com/forums/s...ht%2Areduction (mentions item size tags not being listed but no solid evidence for exact date)

I came across this mention of the Item size tag in this link, which was just 5 days prior to the April 2001 patch:

Could you please list in the patch thread additional changes that have been made but not announced in the offical patch message.

For example, I think Aradune mentioned new DX intitialization code to access extended functions on high end video cards. Or, at least I think this is new in this patch, a size tag on items, so that you can see if something is Tiny, Small, Medium or Large before trying to shove it into a container.

I don't know about DX initialization. But you are right about the size tags.

Items should now tell you what size they are if you right click them, and containers should tell you what size they will hold.

Thanks for pointing that out, we missed mentioning that in the patch message.
So essentially [Apr2001] rule for adding Size Tags to all items and weight reduction displaying

Back in 2013 nilbog mentioned:

This should be modifiable with the eqstr_us.txt file. Line 3042. Would recommend changes here, but people saving it incorrectly produces errors. Will look into it.
Any progress on implementation?
