Miscellaneous: Faydwer Brewing Supplies

In South Kaladim, Hanamaf Darkfoam is currently selling the following brewing items out of era:

- Barley
- Hops
- Malt
- Rice
- Wine Yeast
- Yeast

He doesn't appear to offer these items until the beginning of GoD. (See EQTraders: Dec2003 vs Feb2004)

In fact, somewhat surprisingly, there wasn't a brewing supply vendor offering the above ingredients in all of Faydwer until September 2000.

Are there ANY brewing supplies to be bought in Butcher or Kaladim? I
think I've hit every merchant in the zones but have yet to see hops and
barley and such anywhere.

Nope, no brewing supplies in Kaladim, Kelethin, Ak'Anon, or Felwith.
Travel to Freeport.

If you look closely, there are NO specialty vendors in Brewing in all of Faydwer. So, brewing is a bit harder there, you'll need to travel to Freeport to get supplies.

Using EQTraders, we can compare Butcherblock captures before and after the patch (May2000 vs Oct2000) to see the vendor in question is Inudul Dumirgun.

However, from the May2000 capture, we see Inudul Dumirgun existed prior to the Sep2000 patch offering a different inventory.

This map of Butcherblock suggests Inudul offered general goods prior to the patch. Gamin Griststone (misspelled Fristone) is also listed as offering general goods.

In the May2000 EQTraders capture above, we see these two NPCs, as well as two others in zone, offering some fishing supplies:

Buy Milk outside of Kaladim in the first building to your left as you leave the
city. Muffins aren't available and neither is bread, so you'll be stuck buying
rations which cost several silver.

No one sells muffins in Kaladim or, as near as I could tell,
anywhere in faydwer.

In Kaladim the merchant standing outside the cleric guild in
North Kaladim sells rations, milk and water.

In Butcherblock the high elf standing by the boat docks and the
high elf in the first hut to the left of the kaladim gate also
sell food and drink.

The first house on your left outside the city, there's a high elf in
there.. sells food and water.

And I know somewhere inside they sell too, just can't remember offhand..

Aside from Inudul, the only other vendors in the first building to the left when exiting Kaladim are dwarves selling smithing molds.

Proposed Changes
- Remove the out of era brewing supplies from Hanamaf Darkfoam
- Revert Inudul Dumirgun's inventory to that of a general goods merchant until Sep2000
- Replace Inudul's inventory with current brewing supply inventory in Sep2000
- Add missing items to Gamin Griststone, Felen Razdal, and Parn Glywyn as needed
