Default So when you're grouping in Crypt...

I was getting philosophical in my Seb-focused Discord channel, and I asked:

So when you're grouping in Crypt and the mobs in CE get out of order somehow or there are long spans between spawns and you don't have that tidy 8-10 min afk after a cycle, are you 1) a person that feels like the group should wait when a mob spawns until the rest of the Crypt spawns before attacking to bunch mobs spawntimers back up? or 2) a person who thinks the best time for a mob to die is always now?

And might the answer to this say a bit about what type of person you are?

In a group situation I say just kill things at whatever rate but in solo It's nice to get the timed. But also sometimes annoying.

Like that moment you have to do the math that if you leave 1 mob up then the cycle will be back to order but youll have missed at least 1 spawn before you camp.

If you have the spawns split already and you get behind on timers the correct answer is to kill the next mob faster and catch up

I think intentionally waiting isn't the play. Consider at some point, a group member may need a bio AFK or something like that. Or you may get behind on spawns by a linkdeath, somebody dying, somebody needing to be replaced, somebody needing to quickly get to EC to sell something.... since those things will inevitably happen I'd consider those your opportunities to get the spawns back in order. Versus intentionally taking a break.

Grouped I think most people appreciate killing the 4 rooms, fighting down to Emp's spawn then coming back and then either...

1. Pulling from the path down to the camp
2. Having a group AFK til the ICG's spawn again.

If the first ICG is already up you don't deserve an AFK and need to keep going.
