Default Updated Spell File not working

I just updated my spells file yesterday, and everything was working (mostly) ok. I started freezing during zones, which never happened before. It wasn't as much as some of the other people (probably around 10% of the time) but today i crashed while zoning after a death, and when I tried restarting EQ it gave me a server unresponsive error. Thinking it was just a tech problem server side I waited a few hours and now when I try to log in it says I do not have an updated spells file. I redownloaded the spell file and applied them again, but it's still not working. Any ideas?

Xrend, I moved my eq folder to drive C: and it started working again (thanks Cruschev) so you might want to try that

No problem, modern operating systems have problems with EQ running out of Program Files.
