Default Pathing - The Overthere

These npc's in The Overthere don't path and seems like they are supposed to.
They are also level 20+ in the low level area, which may be worth checking into as well.

A Kunark Rhino 3110, -3310
A Sabertooth Tiger 2758, -3470

I actually found a total of 10 that needed paths in this zone. I have added new paths to each of them. Fixed, pending update.

There are similar issues of wrong mobs walking to the wrong places in SONH. I’ve looked at magelo as a source for where these mobs have been killed on live and that source is not lining up with where they appear on p99.

What info do you need to fix such issues more easily?

Perhaps the npc name and the nodes it erroneously paths to?

As I understand it on live, and most likely in era, an NPCs path in outdoor zones could spawn points between certain sections of the zones, so the pathing is taken with a grain of salt. EQemu has not added support for random path nodes like this. So live can give you an indication, but hopefully eventually outdoor zones could have some randomness added to it.

Just for reference, one of the sonh mobs that paths on p99 to where it has never been witnessed (via plot of kill locations) on live - an iksar marauder.

Would it be helpful for me to findand document a more complete list of NPC who path their way into the low level areas of sonh (around the city and first island to fv)?

There was a roaming grid that erroneously went into that territory. I identified and removed 26 locations where y > 0 and x was > 2000. So they should no longer path there after the update.
