Reset () Device Failed

Have random crashes when playing (not when zoning/logging). Just says Reset Device Failed and closes client. Anyone have a fix for that?

Are you getting the dgvoodoo watermark?

What did you set the General tab and DirectX tab settings to?

Can you be more specific please? Where is the watermark supposed to appear? What are those settings supposed to be? I've been playing for a year without issue. This started happening after the most recent patch.

Seeing the dgVoodoo watermark is how you know its being utilized. If you dont see it, than it may not be properly setup. It will be a large logo on the bottom right of your EQ Client

You can disable the watermark which this video shows in the initial setup but I'd recommend keeping it on to confirm it is working and then disable it

I sometimes see this when launching a newer game that uses directx 11 or 12 when the directx 9 client is loaded
