Spells: Ghoul Root, Weapon Combat (Root)

I am not sure if this is a bug or not but it used to never happen before...

LGuk frogs proc a root, it overrides my Paralyzing Earth spell.

I give my pet a weapon that procs Root, lowest spell and still overrides my Paralying Earth spell.

Any insight? Thank you!
