![]() "To 8!" How to play: Game will begin once each of the 6 players have paid their entry fees. Then, each player will /random 100, in an orderly fashion. Top roll of each /random will be recorded as one point. In the event of a tie, each player will be awarded a point. If a player rolls improperly, or before the proper time to roll, their roll for that sequence of rolls will be forfeited. How to win: The game will end when the first player reaches 8 points. The top 3 places will be paid accordingly to the entry fee of the game. In the event of a tie, a single /random will determine placings. Example of how game is played lcasinol says,"Players, /random 0 100 please" <roll phase> Player 1 rolls 85 Player 2 rolls 42 Player 3 rolls 14 Player 4 rolls 67 Player 5 rolls 89 Player 6 rolls 58 <end of roll phase, no rolling will take place while scoring phase is taking place> lcasinol says,"Player 5 (1)." lcasinol says, Players, /random 0 100 please" <roll phase> Game continues until Player 1-6 reaches 8. Final tally: Player 1 (8), Player 2 (7), Player 3(4), Player 4(6), Player 5(6), Player 6(3). Player 1 and 2 win the respective amount for their game, and player 5 and 5 need to /random 0 100 to settle their tie. Player 4 rolls 83, player 5 rolls 15. Player 4 wins the 3rd place prize Current games: 280 entry - 500 win 540 entry - 1000 win 2800 entry - 5000 win 5400 entry - 10,000 win

![]() The word "game" indicates that players make decisions one way or another that somehow affects their outcome.
This is just an overly-elaborate /ran 100. In other words, a lottery.

![]() Dear casino:
Mind taking this horseshit away from the NFP Bank? Those of us using it as a legit area to buy/sell items are sick of the spam. Regards, the rest of the server.

At a meta level, one of the most powerful strategies is convincing one's opponents that there are no strategies or skills for a particular game. For example, in the game we all share, one group of players might convince another group of players that results are due to circumstances beyond their control, such as intervention by developers, sophisticated custom software and psychic abilities. In that situation, the second group's belief that they could not win would eventually become the proverbial self-fulfilling prophecy. Just sayin'.

Slot machines and lotteries I wouldn't define as games. The very simplest of games in most books is rock-paper-scissors. And of course, there are leagues and whatnot who play it competitively - for that very reason, it does involve choice and (optionally) strategy. Similarly, poker is a game; blackjack; etc. Random 100 isn't a game to me. It's just luck. If there's no skill, no choice, nothing that can give me an edge on my competitor (or vice-versa) based on something that I do, you're more-or-less a spectator.
