Game Mechanics: Starting Dwarf with Sense Heading skill 0

I started a dwarf rogue, Ignacio, and was disappointed to find that his sense heading skill is 0 instead of the usual 50 that dwarves start with.

This is the same for High Elves. But I don't know why they started with on classic, if anything.

I think the 50 sense heading was a racial trait for dwarves.

(kind of weak if you ask me since you can hotkey sense heading to your directional buttons.)

But still a good find, I never thought about this.

Just an update.. I checked the Skill window, showing up as 50 skill. Class trainers show me at 0 skill.
