Greetings! I recently rolled a Half Elf Paladin of Marr! For Truth and Justice, friends, as a true paladin!

Nature's Defender is not overrated

I like Nature's Defender, in terms of stats/hp/mana/resist it's total is a bit less (46) than Fiery Defender.

ND gives +10 dex and helps you proc more so group tanking is easier.
