What items if any should I try to get my hands on before they get nerfed?

Also as a DE/inny mage are there any factions I should avoid ruining/ruining further?

If you have to ask, your best bet is probably some Rubicite armor and maybe JBoots.

Getting jboots now is probably much less stressful than trying to get on a player made list after the change.

If you can go full no life, then a manastone. But it's probably not worth sacrificing your mental and physical health to go after that. And they will still be tradeable after they stop dropping so you can always farm a bunch and buy one. Mages make on of the best farming classes.

Rubicite would be for fun or money, manastone only if your truly insane and don't mind sitting at your computer for 150+ hours. As for factions, just avoid Crushbone, there is a dark elf cleric chick in Najena near the ogre captain. Otherwise feel free to murder everyone you like.
