Pet Weapons (summoned pets)

So a friend of mine who plays an SK told me yesterday that he was told that if he gives his lvl 58 SK pet (lvl 44 necro equiviliant) a high dmg 2-hander (Oggok Cleaver was example given) AND a torch it will quad for 89... that sounds pretty sick. Can anyone confirm if this is true? Will a summoned pet quad with a 2h weapon if you give it both a 2h weapon and a torch?

Derived question is can we weaponize spectre pet in the same fashion? Will it quad with a 2hander?

Is anyone able to shed some light on how this works?

If you give torch first, 2H will be forced into primary hand while still quadding.

The downside is that the Oggok Cleaver will be lost when u logout or pet dies?

Correct. unless you play an enc. It's still a good option for long grind sessions i zones where you don't get trained etc.
