Teal is different.
It reminds me of that episode of FRIENDS where Joey goes to the dentist for a root canal and when he's under the effects of laughing gas tells his girlfriend Jenna that she's wonderful but that he doesn't see a long-term future with her. Of course he forgets even mentioning it after the procedure but doesn't fail to notice that she's much colder and less happy in their relationship over the course of time and eventually he has to drag it out of her (like pulling teeth!) that HE and what he said at the dentist is the reason she's troubled and in the end he has to finally admit that as much as he loves and respects Jenna, that their relationship must end but hopefully they can be friends in the end, as they both learned and gained from the experience and then Ross tells Rachel that he has feelings for her.
Playing teal is kind of like that, and I'm enjoying it!
