Default Viewport

What would be a good viewport for me? I normally used 1920x1080 and would like to go to the 4:3 ratio to see more of the screen on top and bottom.

Thanks!

/viewport [x y h w]

The first number determines where you want the viewing area to start from the left side of the screen measured in pixels.
The second number is where it'll start from the top of the screen.
The third number is the height of the viewing area.
And last is the width of the viewing area.

If your native resolution on your monitor is 1920x1080 and wanted the viewing area to take up the full screen you would use:
/viewport 0 0 1920 1080

You might want to try:
/viewport 240 0 1440 1080

Assuming you play in window mode there's absolutely no reason to pick one of these. Just find how wide or how tall you want your EQ view to be and multiple by 3/4 or 4/3 to get the other.

Also you don't need to use /viewport at all unless you want black bars or want to play full screen. Otherwise just set the resolution in eqclient.ini

I do want the black bars on the sides as I don't want my game to clash with my desktop icons.

Viewport should not be working with Project 1999: http://web.archive.org/web/200309301.../20020724.html
