hey guys can anyone confirm is the wolf can equip gear? like mask or armor ect? also does spirit quickening stack on haste? i it worth using? thanks in advanced!

They can't equip weapons (they could on live ... but they got the ability to in Luclin [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]). As for non-weapon gear, I've given my pet a muzzle before, but I've never parsed to see if he actually uses it ... I believe he does though.

As for Spirit Quickening, I'm 99% certain it doesn't stack (and is just a worthless spell in general).

One thread I read suggests the duration on Spirit Quickening here is incorrect, as in it should be an hour long. Otherwise it's basically worthless. Might be something worth getting a P99 detective to investigate.

I'm certainly no Rygar, but I checked Lucy and you may be on to something. While Lucy always shows the same duration, it's entries start on 2002-03-07, well after live Velious ended (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/spellhist...30&source=Live).

But honestly, even with a longer duration, the spell still seems kinda garbage. You get more than double the haste with Celerity.

I experimented a while back to see if P1999 conferred similar benefits to a pet's damage mitgation if it was given a full suit of Banded armor on a mage pet as it would on old retail, and the a answer was a Yes. At the moment I'm not dropping 30-34pp each time to gear Doge up for a given play session, but once I reach 49 and settle down for more serious cash camping it's an option I might explore.
