Default Can necro use goblin ring

As title suggests can a necro use the goblin ring the cursor drops to instant break undead charms? I assume he can. I'm looking for alternatives to CoS

Yeah, keep in mind, you will have to target yourself beforehand.

However, I hear there are macro workarounds that can turn the whole thing into a button press.

I recently got my pre-nerf CoS. I almost gave up on getting one as well. It really is nice.

If you can save up 7k for a goblin ring, you can save up just a little more for a pre-nerf CoS. It really is worth it.

I wouldn't think so, since it's invisibility to animals. Undead would have no relation.
All invisibility spells will break pet charms.

The thing is it seems saving "a little more" has turned into about 20k more. That's a lot of coin for me as a casual player.

It should work. I mean why wouldn’t it? Undead see through gather shadows yet that works.

Edit: as mentioned already it’s a bit more burdensome with goblin ring as you need to target yourself whereas CoS doesn’t require targeting so you get to keep your former pet targeted. I have been unable to find a macro that works.

However it’s not a big deal. I play an enc too and you get use to it. What you do (courtesy of Tecmos) is hit F1 three times cycling through you, your pet, then you again. Then click goblin ring and the immediately press your hotkey for “last target”
