Is it worth while saving all the wolf, bear and other meat to cook?

Not really. If you seriously want to improve your baking you do it (initially) with bat wings and fresh fish. They're easy because you can just buy a bunch, combine them, and repeat until you hit the trivial level.

And then once you get your baking up, you can make beer braised bear and all that, but the stats aren't amazing and you'll probably eat it all soon anyway.

But if you're in Qeynos (no purchasable bat wings) and trying to work on baking as a low level character you might want to use them to skill-up I guess.

Wolf meat is used in Grobb (troll) merchant/banker faction and only known way to raise it.

I need a new Greengrocer in my life. I miss playing the wheel of meat in EC. I can't throw out racial meats either so I need someone to take them off my hands.

Don't feel dis-persuaded to play the game your own way/pace. I fish A LOT on every character I make and nobody can understand it. lol.
