game not loading on win xp

I have Windows XP and i can get the game to load an i followed the start up guide but it still isnt work was wondering if i messed up a step if soo can u tell me each step to fix it plz. thx u

http://moestaverne.com/eqemulauncher122.zip <== get it, extract it, open it, set your EQ directory, and it will autopatch everything so you can join the server

Look in my signature, use the Installer, it will set it up for you in a few clicks and install a ton of fixes that you would otherwise have to do manually and are a pain in the ass.
