I’m new to P1999 as of today, but far from new to EQ.

One quick question, any classes the community is lacking on?
I was going to roll a Druid, but will play anything. I do like to solo/small groups.

Druid is probably the most common class on p99. They are still a great option though, as they have a broad toolkit and ability to solo, port, and group decently.

The classes I see the least of are Rangers, and Warriors, maybe it's just my observation though.

There is an abundance of druids

P99 lacks the hybrids if anything. Mostly due to the era lock of velious. While hybrids are still good and function it's no secret that during velious hybrids where not all that great

Due to p99 environment I feel some players role a toon to either solo with or to raid with, some I'm sure just really like a certain class.

For the raiders you'll see alot more raid stacking on p99 than on classic think last AoW kill had like 12 clerics and 13 or 14 rogues (and those are the non roleplay / anon ones) and alot less of the subpar dps like knights and rangers
