Default How many people are playing Project 1999?

I usually enjoy large population in MMORPGs so I don't feel lonely in a large world. How many people play this game?

There were 33 in City of Mist when I poked my head in at 1030 MST. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

On the upside, there were 6 in Lower Guk.

I don't think anyone's answering the question, which I think may be more about total active accounts.

I recall back when they had to open the first additional EQ servers, someone said something like a server with an US evening peak of around 2000 online represented an active player base on that server of around 20,000 (as many players are casual, many don't play every day, and the peak is just one time of day). I don't know whether that's right.

When Kunark dropped on Friday we had over 1500 online at primetime. Whenever I logged in it was somewhere around 900-1100 online during the weekend prime. Offtimes you can see anywhere between 250-500 people, higher numbers recently since Kunark came out.

Since two-boxing is not allowed it is probably safe to say there are 900-1100 seperate people on. People might have multiple accounts, but they don't (read: shouldn't be) play them at the same time.

Its a healthy community, crowded at the bottlneck of 51-52 zones because of lack of keys to HS and Seb (maybe not Seb anymore) and the massive amount of people who were capped when the expansion dropped. Still a good amount of people in all the other zones and camps.

Average Players: 481
Max Players: 1523

How about you make an account and log on and see how the population is instead of waiting for somebody to tell you [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Welcome!
