Default Hi all!

First off, I played a wizzie quite early on. Ironically, I signed up a few days ago with a progression server (which of course SUCKS now big time). You can laugh at me, I deserve it!

I've actually been following P1999 since it started and am now kicking myself for not signing up at the onset. First question, has anyone downloaded Underfoot and been able to start up? Seems like there are lots of you here, so that's an easy question answered and the price seems right at $20. If so, I would immediately delete what I've paid for so far. Also, what's the typical population like; I see a bit over 900 on now? I remember around 2000 before, just wondering how that affects play. Are there still chars in lowbie levels or is it TOO LATE to start now?

From what I've read in the forums you guys (and girls) seem to have it together with play-nice policies. Basically, the devs take no shit and I like that. I believe in mistakes, but there are instances that banning is OK for first time offenders! I rollplayed the 2 years I played and always made friends and followed the rules. I remember getting trained by 3 cyclops when I was getting off the boat once when they were extra buggy. Insta-death for a lvl 12! So when a necro told me my corpse was at (0,0) and at the bottom of the ocean I cried. I actually felt bad doing a /petition to GM because I figured I'd have to find a way to swim out to it.....ah those were the days.

If I started up, I'd definitely donate at least the regular fee that Sony charges per month, as long as the experience was similar. I'd hate to join up and just sit in CB all by myself lonesome soloing D'Vinn for the dagger, bleck.

It's definitely not too late to start.

Cleric, um, do I have to?!

Obviously they're the most in need ALL THE TIME for rezzing. But by this point, aren't all classes represented? Is there a listing of chars by class and level on P1999? I'm sure there is and I just haven't seen the list. I know it's not under members list.

So, too many wizzies, huh? How many can bake a cake?

No, cleric. Never too many rezzers. Darwin proved it in the 1930's

It's not that there's too many wizards, they're just hard to lvl due to other DPS classes being better for groups. But if you enjoyed wizard on live then maybe you'd enjoy doing it again.

When I came here I decided to try some classes I hadn't done before, instead of trying to recreate the magic that we all experienced back on live, I was here for new adventures.

Don't play what others tell you to play, there's some classes that will make leveling easier, or can make more money. But in the end if you're not having fun with the character then what's the point?

Enjoy your time here, if you have questions you can look me up in game!
