Any use for Frenzy line?

I wasnt aware that the shaman frenzy line of spells was supposed to have a mana degeneration component and was very sad to see it implemented into the last patch. Considering that using it takes about 30 seconds to completely deplete my mana pool, does anybody realize any practical use for the spell?
