Default 2nd Annual Norrath Pubcrawl

Greetings ladies and gentlemen,
It's that time of year again where I announce:

The Norrathian Pubcrawl!!!

Where: Starts in Ak'anon.
When: Starts 1PM EST Saturday February 16th.

Communication: Mumble/Vent/in Game.
GM Involvement: Hopefully, I'm not reaching out but if Rogean or Sirken want to get involved please let me know.

What is the Norrathian pubcrawl you ask? Why, you're an idiot,I daresay.
That being said, the N.P.C. is a journey across your favorite world, sampling some of the finest brews, meads, ciders, and whatever the flip you'd expect to find at a bar in the game; the twist is, you will purchase real alcoholic beverages to pair to the city and tavern we are visiting in game.
For a rundown before I rerundown everything, here is a link to the server chat/off topic threads on it from 2 summers ago.

How does it work in real life?
You go to your local alcoholic beverage store, pick out a sampling of craft beers based on each town you will be visiting in Norrath. More on this at the bottom for suggestions based on city.

How's this work in game?
I'm glad you asked, the journey will start in the far east, Ak'anon, and we will work our way across Faydwer, Antonica, and Odus, with an optional return journey to Grobb/Oggok for those still alive.

I strongly discourage anyone from rolling a toon in each city, the crawl is more exciting if everyone plays one character for the entire event, for that reason invisiblity spells or feign death may be necessary to bypass guards in certain cities based on your race.

Drinks by City-
Akanon: Gnomes are weak of constitution, much like elves, favoring wines, fruity drinks, and ciders.
Choices- Wine, Cider Beer, Wine Coolers.

Felwithe: The Elves of Felwithe hugely favor red wine with their sophisticated tastes, but have also been known to sample their kelethin cousins honey meads.
Light Wheat/Honey Beer, Wine, Cider.

Kelethin: These more primitive elves love fruit or nature based drinks.
Nut Beers, Light Beer, Wine, Cider.

Kaladim: The hardy dwarves are known as the finest brewers in the world, a rich and strong mead will only do with these folks.
Any style ale, preferably a medium/dark ale, stouts, double bocks.

Freeport: Humans are as varied as the lands from which they hail, being a coastal city they often receive imports from overseas....
Any India Pale Ale, any coastal city brewery beer.

Neriak: A city of evil elves, anything sinfully delicious.
Chocolate based beer, or wine. Or with evil connotation/labeling.

Rivervale: Halflings are cheery folk, they love ale and mead and good times.
Any comically labeled beer, light/medium beer.

HighPass: A human city, with some good ale.
Any IPA, midwest brewery, medieval ale.

Halas: The hearty men of Halas salute you with a dark mead, to keep winters chill off your bones.
Any scottish or irish ale/beer.

Surefall Glades: These woodsy rangers are a fan of classic Norrathian beer.
Any anheiser(sp?) product: budweiser, bud ale, platinum, etc.

Qeynos: Another coastal human city, their city boasts some of the strongest beers known to man.
Dogfish head series: 60,90,120 minute options.

Erudin: The wise men of Erudin have long enjoyed relaxing their brains with some poisonous liquids.
Any Lager of choice.

Paineel: The unholy men of paineel want you to die.
Dead Man Ale series, any dark ale/stout/bock beer.

Veterans Challenge:
Return journey to antonica, passing through

Oggok:There's a reason ogres are dumb.
Any 7% or higher alcohol ale/beer.

Grobb: Don't troll me bro, if you are honestly doing the challenge you are already unconscious.
any 7% or higher alcohol ale/beer.

All who complete the crawl can give each other a hearty pat on the back, I have no rewards beyond the awesome experience of the crawl itself.

-Lord Knukkle(formerly known as Knuckle).

Count me in. Although don't think I'll be tolerating this nonsense about gnomes being 'weak in constitution'...

Whatever feels right, 20 minutes to 30 minutes depending. make sure to have your music turned on for full immersion. dont forget we are traveling by foot so that beer will have time to settle between cities.

No teleports, and since we are traveling from city to city its kind of pointless. As far as SoW is concerned doesn't matter to me, but if we travel with sow thats less time for alcohol to settle between cities. High level toons are fine.
