Game Mechanics: corpse poofed last patch

went to cr my wizzie after the last patch /down time and no corpse in zone. i talked to 2 other people this happened to

Can't find my cleric's corpse anywhere that I would have possibly been last time I played it. Either server ate it or I died somewhere strange while drunk. Submitted a petition on the forum but no response.

Same thing happened to my Paladin

you can /tell live.amelinda and see if i'm on or hit me up in irc (amelinda) and i'll see if i can find your corpse but here is the larger issue i am running into:

there are no corpses to summon.

so far i've found this issue with the following individuals:

Hi Amelinda. I kited a bunch of willowisps naked and just sold the loot so I bought myself all the gear I had before my corpse was lost. It was painful kiting without a lute but anyways, I don't need any assistance with my corpse anymore. Thanks for your help.
