Quest Issue: Vin Moltor

I understand that Vin Moltor is supposed to drop the severed paw (the container) for the paw of opalla quest as common loot. I've killed him four times now and still have not received it. Everybody I asked (several people) all confirmed that they got the paw on their first kill. Is there something wrong with his loot table or am I just extremely unlucky? Thanks

Any reason you didn't try to do the quest. If unaware, Vin Moltor *could* drop the paw, but it wasn't common.

It is easier to do his quest to obtain it. Anyways, all this is working fine. Moving to resolved.
