Thrackin Griften

Yesterday someone accidentally spawned this guy. I think he's for the enchanter epic quest. But the person who spawned him was just fooling around and didn't have the ability to kill him.

Thrackin is still up as of this morning and cons very red (he's level 55 according to the wiki) and threatening to me. The problem is he's hanging around one of my favorite bandit-killing spots (this is in West Karana).

So my question is, will he despawn at some point? Or will he last until some enchanter needs to kill him for the quest?

Epic mobs normally despawn after a few hours, but I'm not sure about Thrackin.

I dont think you even need to do this portion of the enchanter epic quest anymore.

Any truth to this statement? About to start mine but I've never heard of a way to skip this part...
