Default Fear line should overwrite 'Change Form' spells

Classically, the Fear line of spells should overwrite any 'Change Form' spells that are on the person being feared (Bear form, wolf form, Lich form, rogue illusions, AoN, etc).

Just went on a raid thru that old portal-o-fun in Freerott. During the buff phase the lady necro at the portal spawned and got off a fear on me. Well, actually more like 3 or 4 before the mop-up squad noticed her. The last of the fears actually managed to stick. When it hit, my bearform (spirit of the great bear) was over-written. Is it intentional or a bug that Fear line overwrites bearform?

This is a new one to me. I honestly have no idea why this is happening, but I'll look into it and try to get it fixed as soon as possible.

Err sorry about that guys, I forgot that Fear spells overwrite change form spells.... Guess my brain decided to meltdown on me as I was reading that email.

So to answer your question, Fear spells will overwrite all change form spells. Hope that clears it up for ya, sorry for the confusion.

Posts were dated 8/23/2001. Looking through patch notes I did not seeing any fixes to this in era, so for life of server it appears that fear spells should be doing this. Watched many videos of all forms of feared players on P99 running mad with fear while illusions are up.
