Default Would it be ilegal to give away my acc for free?
Hey there,

I understand that trading accounts is ilegal for good reasons.
I just was afk from p1999 for more than 2 years. As I don't intend to come back, I just stripped my chars and gave away all dropable loot in the tunnel.

Now I was wondering if there is any way that would allow me to give the acc to someone who might want to make use of it. As trading accs is forbidden to prevent RMT, is there any way, perhaps giving the acc to the GMs and then the GMs would give it away or smth, to ensure that I could not know who gets it?

You can give accounts away. It's no different than giving someone your information.

If you want us to hold your accounts. They will be safe with us.

Seriously, Tupakk, stop offering to 'hold' people's accounts. It's skeezy. =\

The accounts are much safer if you simply don't give away your info at all. People DO share accounts a lot, though, mostly for raiding and the like.

Pretty much the official rule is that account trading is illegal and they don't allow the transfer of accounts. This isn't cool to do publicly. If you happened to give your password to a friend... People do that. Don't count on support if that works out badly.

Just delete your characters. Starting fresh is the best part of the game, not being given a character that's already high level

This reminds me of the art store in washington dc where you buy a tee shirt for $80 and the man "gifts" you a quarter of an ounce of pot for free.
