Default Sleeper's Tomb

Hello,

I am not sure if I quite understand how this zone works. Once you wake up papa dragon a bunch of the named bosses disappear from inside the zone right? Looking at the wiki there is no known loot, I am assuming because he is neigh impossible to beat, level 99 and what not. So what's the point? Does he have to be woken up to unlock new velious content? Seems kind of shitty that all those item's are unobtainable now. (Sceptre of Destruction, how many are on blue anyways?)

Rampage screwed us all over and is the #1 hated guild on p99 blue.

They ran to WoW with their tails between their legs so they could avoid running their name into the ground any further. As other hated guilds have demonstrated the longer you stick around the worse your guilds reputation becomes. They literally woke the sleeper then left the server. I mean WTF.
Most of these guilds members are smug bastards anyways. They get joy from flaunting their items no one else can ever get.

So you'll never be able to witness Sleeper on P99 blue because of rampage. *spits*

---
So something about sleeper wakes up and flys across the world to vox kills her, naggy kills him, some other places.. I actually forget the lore part.

The only reason to wake the Sleeper was to make some items no longer obtainable, in order to make those already looted more valuable and unique.

There is no other reason to wake the Sleeper, and anyone who pretends otherwise is either ignorant or lying.

Rampage was unhappy with the politics of the raid scene, unhappy with themselves with internal contention between members, and were angry and spiteful of the server.

So like a petulant child that doesn't want to play with a toy anymore yet loathes the idea of others playing with said toy, destroyed it - thus waking the Sleeper before they quit the game.

A few of them did stick around, but the majority of them left the server.

You can talk to some of the old school members of Rampage and they will tell you the story.

It's a nice foray into true nerd drama that has become part of the history of p99.

It still makes me sad knowing the Sleeper was woke only to ruin it so no one else could do so.

Give me a break. It's entirely possible (and likely, even) that some of the people who participated in waking the sleeper enjoyed it in and of itself, not just because they were trying to spite the rest of the server or increase the future value of their rods.

I think you underestimate just how important a valuable rod is.

***Honestly just talk to some of the members of Rampage, many of them are candid about it. Sure, there was some enjoyment in the experience of waking the Sleeper, but the primary motive truly was giving the server the biggest middle finger they could before they quit p99.

I didn't deny that this might be the case. I just said Izmael was probably incorrect that this was the only motivation for everyone involved.
