Quest Issue: Iianic's Scroll Quest

Iianic's Scroll Quest
the quest itself isn't bugged you get the spell on turning in the "Half of a Spell" but when trying to sell the spell reward to a vender they take the spell but give no money... venders state they buy this spell for almost 2p

I have tried this 2 times now to verify
