Characters not showing up on server screen?

Just as the title says, when I login in and get to the character select screen I don't see any of my characters I used to have. I am not getting that error to update the game like after a patch its just a fresh character select screen. Anyone else seen this before? I already posted(I think) in the proper forums to the support team but wanted to see anyone else's input.(also was there a wipe at some point after Velious release?)
