Unhappy Please Help, cant get email verification for sons account.

Hi all, please forgive any typos i make, just had a major surgery and medded up quite a bit.

So I been on P99 a while, Im still a noob, my highest char being 24 I think. Long story short, I started playing again a few weeks ago knowing I would be having a surgery that will have me off my feet for a long time. got it all up and working fie for the most part (except i cant get the velious UI file to download so really dislike my current UI. Also words too small in chat for me to read well, even when using chatfontsize command line.

SO to the point, my son wants to play with me, he is 11. i know ill have to do some kind of ip exemption ext but the site says to get his account going and a char made before starting that process. He wont play much but Id like to show him my favorite game of all time.

Im setting up his account, I even did it on eqemu, but neither site is sending me a email verification link so I can further my setup. I checked spam or whatever icloud calls the folder and nothing there either.

I have sent test emails to his icloud email and they all work fine, Im just no receiving these emails so I can verify his account and finish things up. if anyone can please help me figure this out it would mean a ton to both of us. Due to a lot of pain etc i cant spend time with my son doing thins Id like to and us being able to play EQ together might turn a bad situation into some really cool memories.

i know im rambling, its the meds, wife tells me the same thing, very sorry. ANY help anyone can provide to allow me and my boy to play together, would be so very appreciated. And if ya wanted to drop him a Fine Steel weapon if you see hm it would be a great help too, tat like winning the lottery at his age lol

P.S His email id an icloud address, not sure it if matters. and it works fine.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but if you just add a loginserver account under your own eqemu account, all you have to do is just go log in to the game. No verification emails needed.

Sorry to hear you're in so much pain, but you shouldn't have to verify if you're using an eqemulator account. Just log in using that info.

the equemulator account i tried to set up for him also isn't sending a email verification. So when I go on equemu to make a login server account it say unverified email so I cant proceed. I thought maybe if I set up sms security on either site it might help but again, cant even set up SMS on an account until the email is verified.

So can I just add a 2nd login server account for him under my working emu account?

If it's your son...why not just log into your own emu account and add a loginserver account? You can have up to 3 I think on one emu account. Will save you a lot of hassle.

Since you guys were so awesome and helpful let me try to ask one more thing here. For my IP exemption so we can play together in same room on PC and he on Laptop, do I need to have that done if he just wants to try and play a bit by himself to learn the basics while i watch from next to him?

I wouldn't play on my char, just talk him through things. I imagine it wouls still sho his account being played from my ip though.
