![]() Hey there,
I started playing on p99 just a month ago and the very first thing I noticed was that decaying skeletons aggro you now. I am 100% sure that they did not on live. They always said ready to attack, but never aggroed unless you fought another skeleton and were low on life. I know that so well, because it always made me wonder.

![]() Excellent point. This is actually NOT classic for our timeline! I'm glad you brought it up because its been bothering me for a while.
I specifically remember the patch note when decaying skeletons were made to aggro regardless of level. I don't remember if this applied JUST to decaying skeletons, or to all skeletons, but this is definitely NOT classic. Of course, I'm too lazy to dig up the patch note. One of the bug forum masters should do it for us, i bow to their mad patchnoteskills [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

![]() This also was the first confusing thing I noticed on p99. I played eq from beta, 100% they did not aggro.

![]() I was almost positive that *none* of the decaying skeletons aggro'd.
Again, there was definitely a patchnote about this, it was about a paragraph long, and specifically pointed out they were making all decaying skeletons aggressive to make farming bone chips easier (lol i swear). I'm unsure if it mentioned specifically that ALL decaying skeletons were not aggro'ing before the patch, so it needs to be found! I hate using the wayback machine, so thats the best I can do [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

![]() I know the ones in the Freeport deserts did.
Nektulos definitely didn't, just the regular skeles. Can't say for sure about Gfay. I also recall the Nektulos wizard portal was a tri spawn with a rarely spawned lesser mummy or zombie (night time only + rare?). The skeleton ruin out near EC entrance had a single spawn like this too for a mummy and iirc from checking it here, there aren't enough mobs @ that one. It was a very popular camp on live.
