Kicked to Login Screen After Deaths

Recently almost every other time I die, I will get booted to the login screen. Sometimes when I try to login right after I get kicked out of game to the screen, it will give a "time-out" error msg.

The past few days I've also noticed more lag than usual. I check my internet speed and everything seems fine. Kiting is nearly impossible recently as I play a bard. I've also noticed my ping gets higher in different zones so that can't be me right? If more populated zones are giving me higher pings than others?

I'm new to p99. I came here a couple months ago to start lvling a new character. With no decent gear I'm getting pulverized by mobs that keep teleporting on me in my stack, or will randomly start running in a straight line which is, I'm guessing, server lag where the server thinks that mob is suppose to be there instead of where its suppose to be in my client.

I'm sure theres probably nothing that can be done about this as it is a free server, which I thank anyone making that happen, but Just wanted to see if theres anything I can do to combat this.

Also would like to add that it wasn't like this when I first started playing. Did something get chagned or am I just having bad luck here?
