Default Still getting spell file error.

Returning after a little hiatus. Unzipped new version of patch (42) to my EQ file, copying and replacing the same files etc etc. Still getting "spell files out of date" when I get to my character screen. Don't know what is going on, tried copying and pasting, unzipping to direct location, and cutting unzipped and pasting. Still getting out of date message at character screen. Anyone have any idea what might be happening?

Make sure you're selecting the correct server. Make sure your EQ shortcut's target path includes "patchme" without the quotes at the end. Make sure you're unzipping the correct zip and not an older one that you have laying around. Make sure you're completely closing out the client and reloading it after you unzip the patch files. And if you haven't, try rebooting.

I get this quite often due to connectivity issues.

Hmm... Haven't had this problem before. I'm sure I have the right version, at work right now will recheck patchme when I get home.
