Field of Bone XP issue? Or I'm crazy

Hey y'all. I'm so glad Project 1999 exists!!! Taking me back to my glory days on The Nameless and Zek. I'm 3 days in and I've got a lvl 16 High Elf Enchanter that I LOVE.

Here's my question. I made the trek all the way to Field of Bone and Kurns thinking I would get some crazy xp there. Or at least a lot of decent pulls. True, there are a ton of blues ready to go...but when I kill them, all I get from a blue is 1 xp. ONE xp.

Now I make sure to get a hit or two in on them...melee hits at that...of every mob my charmed pet kills....but still it's 1 or 2 xp at most. For a blue.

Am I crazy or is that low? Is there some faction issue that's killing my xp? Did I make the run for nothing? Help!! Thanks in advance.
