Default Gaming Keypad

Does anyone use a Gaming Keypad? What brands?

I play on my laptop which has small semi-flush keys which make it hard to really distinguish when I've moved keys. Also the spacing seems larger than a regular keyboard but that could just be my imagination.

I've thought about buying an external keyboard and using that but my work has gaming keypads they use for certain programs and it got me to thinking one might be well suited to MMO's. I'm just not sure how compatible it would be with EQ.

Any gaming keyboard should work with it. The hotkeys are typically mapped to a key you don't use often but are easier to hit due to its location so to the game you're still hitting the button you've mapped. I have a Razr Black Widow Chroma. If youre wanting to travel with it, Corsair http://www.bestbuy.com/site/corsair-...&skuId=5226010 and razr http://www.bestbuy.com/site/razer-bl...&skuId=2046537 make one without a number pad so it isn't as big. Mine is pretty big and would not be easy to travel with.

After playing with my work's keypad I opted to buy a gaming mouse instead. I went with the Razr Naga Hex 8. Has improved the gameplay by leaps and bounds. If I didn't have to type I would almost do away with my keyboard and actually use a gaming keypad in addition to the mouse.
