DB error - invalid password

I have downloaded the game, I can launch it, but when I try to connect with my loginserver account, there is a message "DB error - invalid password"
It's me or the uppercase is not important to connect ?

I don't know if it's connected, but I don't seem to be able to install the latest patch files (from the homepage) as it is saying my "Access is denied"; I can't think of any reason why it would be saying this as I am running as admin with UAC turned off at present - Any suggestions would be greatly welcomed!
