Anyone know of a website or have a list to a guide to leveling shaman alchemy?

Those are about 80% right. Be sure to buy enough for one combine to test any recipe you havent made before.

There are also some level cap changes that were made about a month ago, so you can't max out alchemy the moment you get the skill, and possibly not even once you hit 50. I'm not entirely sure how it works.

The cap is set to 130 at lvl 50. I believe you can get 5 points of alchemy for every level past 25, which is the level requirement to start alchemy.

Max alchemy is now 130 : from the Oct 6 patch -

"Shaman Alchemy skill is now level capped based on the formula (level - 24) *5"
Most of the errors on those linked sites are with trivial lvls. There are quite a few things on there that say they trivial at a lower level than they actually do (damage shield, stinging wart, dulsehound come to mind).

So I heard that a non-trivial combine done by someone already over the cap will drop them down to the cap. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

It's true I was at 165 before they changed the cap and after 1 non triv combine I was dropped to 130 immediately.

So then when you go to guild trainer at 25 and invest a skill point, instead of starting at your level of 25 you start at 1?
