Compatibility

Trying to run the disc 1 iso for installation and keep getting a compatibility error? The program compatibility assistant pops up and has this message "To fix a compatibility problem settings were applied to the program. These settings will be used the next time you run the program". Anyone that could help me with this so I can get the game up and running? you can try and run it over and over and nothing?
